He previously served as president of International Securities Exchange Corporation, trustee of Soros Open Society Institute and one of three trustees of the International Science Foundation along with George Soros and Nobel Laureate James Watson. He is a director of the World Policy Institute and former vice chairman of the Business Council at the United Nations.
