On January 17, 2020, the World Women Organization (WWO) launched the COVID-19 aid program for China in the Parliament of Malaysia. As confirmed cases of COVID-19 increases around the world and thousands of lives have been taken, the WWO shows sympathy for China in fighting the outbreak. For this reason, the WWO donated more than 6 million medical supplies to help the Chinese government combat the disease and to help medical workers and others in seriously impacted regions get through the epidemic quickly and effectively.
“Everyone at the World Women Organization (WWO) is extremely concerned about the harm COVID-19 does to families. China is at the forefront of this battle against the spread of this deadly virus, we appreciated all the hard work and sacrifices that China is making. WWO would like to contribute towards this struggle against the spread of the COVID-19.” said Angela R, Director General of WWO.
